Chinese automakers are already responsible for five per cent of all battery-electric cars sold in the European market this year and could reach a nine to 18 per cent share of the electric car market in Europe by 2025, according to a new study by Transport & Environment (T&E). The think tank warns that the European auto industry will lose more and more market share to foreign manufacturers if it does not complete the transformation to e-mobility quickly enough.
