Electric cars better for climate in 95% of the world

Driving an electric car is more climate-friendly than driving a gasoline car in 95% of the world, according to a new study by the universities of Cambridge Exeter and the Dutch Uni of Nijmegen. There are only a few countries like Poland, where this is not yet the case due to the very high proportion of coal in electricity generation.
