Amazon ofrece un puerto de carga falso para vehículos ICE

En Amazon se puede comprar un puerto de carga falso llamado "PrankPort", un puerto de carga falso con fijación magnética para vehículos de combustión. El fabricante, una marca llamada Export Commodity, describe el artículo como de broma, pero también lo anuncia como "perfecto para aparcar en plazas de VE".

In the product description, the product is advertised as a great gift “for Dads, Truck Owners, EV Haters, and those who like to joke around and be bold.” The product is available in two versions (Tesla port or J1772 port) and different colours.

According to the description, the fake charging port has been designed to look authentic. However, it is better not to actually plug in a charging cable, as the manufacturer warns that the device is not made for the weight of a cable. Commenters were also quick to point out that parking in a designated EV spot is not legal, and may doing so may end up with a trip to the tow company yard.
