Mercedes lanza el SUV EQS en China

Mercedes-Benz is bringing its EQS SUV to China. The EV will be available from 910,500 yuan (about 123,900 euros or 132,000 dollars), making it more expensive there than in Germany or the US, where it is already available.

Three variants are available: the 450+ and 450 4MATIC, each with 265 kW output, and the 580 4MATIC with 400 kW. All three variants have a 111.8 kWh battery pack, allowing the SUV to charge with 145 kW maximum. The battery can therefore be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in about 40 minutes.

The CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) puts the range for the EQS SUV between 670 kilometres and 742 kilometres. It comes with an optional third row of seats, making it a possible seven-seater. Moreover, the EQS SUV can hook up to 1.8 tonnes.

El vehículo es produced at the Tuscaloosa plant in Alabama, USA, and exported. Even to Alemania, where the vehicle can be ordered since last August. It is the third model based on the EVA2 electric vehicle platform – but the first SUV. Como se informó, el SUV EQS y también el próximo SUV EQE se fabrican en la planta estadounidense de Mercedes en Tuscaloosa.
