Chrysler retira del mercado los modelos Pacifica más antiguos por riesgo de incendio

The cause has not yet been established. Owners are advised for now to park the vehicles outdoors and away from other vehicles and buildings, and not to charge. Chrysler says they have been investigating the issue but it has not yet gotten down to the bottom of what’s causing it. This also means Pacifica owners may have to wait some time before being allowed to drive again.

Update 30 January 2023

Stellantis is recalling 76,000 units of the Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid minivan because a short circuit could cause the engine to shut down unexpectedly. The recall affects 67,000 2017 to 2023 Chrysler Pacifica PHEVs in the US and about 9,000 in other countries. As a remedy, dealers will update the software of the inverter module and, if applicable, the instrument cluster.
