Seat slow to electrify: The VW subsidiary is not looking to build plug-in hybrids or electric cars before 2020, despite having access to Volkswagen technology. Seat CEO Jürgen Stackmann says that prices will need to come down first. However, Seat will have to electrify by 2020-2025, as EU regulation will leave it no choice.
