Kia UK opens orders for the new EV6 and EV9 GT models
As we’ve covered previously, this reg year will see the EV6 GT benefit from a range of performance and design tweaks. It will feature the larger 84kWh battery pack, a range of up to 279 miles WLTP, AWD, plus increased horsepower and torque of 641hp and 770Nm respectively. So, let’s get down to brass tacks: on-the-road pricing starts from £59,985, with deliveries pencilled in for late Q3 of 2025. That’s a reduction of £2690 from the previous year. The EV6 GT will feature White Pearl as the colour standard, with four optional premium paint jobs: Runway Red, Midnight Black, Wolf Grey, and Yacht Matt Blue. All of these can be purchased for an additional £675 (inc. VAT), except for the Yacht Matt Blue which is going for £1,500 (inc. VAT).
Meanwhile, the three-row EV9 GT will start at £82,185 for the seven seat configuration or £83,195 for the six-seat model. Again, this vehicle has seen a number of changes over the previous year, including a 99.8kWh battery pack (280 miles estimated range) and features V2L capabilities. Colour options are a little more expensive here; yes, there’s White Pearl as standard, just as with the EV6, but there’s five other options including Aurora Red, Panthera Metal, Midnight Black, Shadow Grey of Pacific Blue. These can be purchased for £725 (inc VAT) as an additional extra, a £50 increase over that of the EV6 GT.
As standard for both vehicles, there’s a seven-year / 100k mile warranty plus eight-year cover for the battery pack and motors. Additionally, you’re looking at service intervals of 24 months / 20,000 miles.
