Elecq brings its smart charging solutions to Germany
Elecq will showcase its offering for the first time at the Power2Drive trade fair in Munich from 7 to 9 May. The company has already outlined its ambitions: combining innovative software and modular, cost-effective hardware that can be installed and maintained with ease. Its intelligent AC and DC charging solutions are modular in design and can be integrated with dynamic load management systems.
According to a statement in German sent to electrive, Elecq offers a comprehensive hardware and software suite for both private and commercial users. In Germany, the company aims to stand out with ‘zero granularity technology.’
“While conventional charging systems typically split energy delivery into fixed blocks – for instance, 25 kW per module – Elecq’s hardware can allocate each kilowatt efficiently and distribute it flexibly across multiple charge points,” the company explains in its statement. Dynamic load management further boosts overall efficiency.
The hardware is backed by a software ecosystem that includes a user app for drivers, a partner app for installers, and a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service platform for planning, installing and managing charging infrastructure. The platform also supports data analysis, energy management and fault diagnostics. Solar power integration is also supported, and according to Elecq, all products are V2G ready and comply with ISO 15118-20 and OCPP 2.0.1 standards.
“We’ve tailored our solutions to meet the specific requirements of European markets, and we’re excited to now introduce them in Germany,” says Simon Wan, founder and CEO of Elecq. “With our focus on energy efficiency, straightforward installation and the use of renewable energy, we believe we’re in exactly the right place.”
