UK: Paua signs deal with Milence
Paua refers to itself as ‘the UK’s leading EV charging network for fleets.’ Through its new partnership with the truck CPO, ‘businesses operating electric trucks can now access Milence’s strategically located, high-performance charging hubs using Paua’s innovative charging platform’, the company explains. The platform will provide ‘full transparency over costs and payments’, helping companies to operate their fleets more efficiently.
The deal goes beyond UK borders. Milence recently opened its first charging park in the UK, namely in Able Humber Port. But it also operates locations in other European countries, where Paua customers the latter’s charge card to plug in. And Milence, a joint venture between Daimler Truck, Traton and the Volvo Group, aims to have at least 1,700 high-performance charging stations across Europe and the UK by 2027.
“This partnership with Milence is a game-changer for the UK’s logistics and transport sector”, said Niall Riddell, CEO and Co-founder of Paua. “By bringing electric truck charging into our platform, we are making it easier than ever for businesses to transition to zero-emission transport. Our vision is to remove the barriers to EV adoption, and this collaboration is a key milestone in that journey.”
