Skoda expands Elroq lineup in the UK
Let’s first look at the SportLine trim. According to the carmaker, it “is poised to introduce a striking new edge to the range thanks to an exclusive design package and sharper driving dynamics.” Prices in the UK start at £37,400.
The Elroq SportLine 60 is fitted with a 63 kWh battery pack (59 kWh net), while the Elroq SportLine 85 comes with a larger 82kWh battery (77kWh net). The smaller variant has a WLTP range of 263 miles (423 kilometres) and can accelerate from zero to 62 mph (about 100 kph) in 8 seconds. The bigger battery is paired with a 210 kW (286 hp) rear-mounted motor, cutting acceleration down to 6.6 seconds. It can go up to 355 miles (571 kilometres) on one charge. DC charging capacity for the new versions is 165 kW and 175 kW, respectively.
Skoda emphasises that “like other Sportline models in the Škoda range, the Elroq features numerous gloss black details, including the exterior mirror caps, side window trims and roof rails.” Both variants have 20-inch Asterion black alloy wheels, while the front bumper spoiler and a rear apron insert are also finished in gloss black. The inside is also mostly held in black.
The new Elroq SE L 60 and Edition 60 are positioned between the entry-level SE 50 and the Edition 85 variants. They, too, feature a 63kWh (59kWh net) battery pack and a 204 hp (150 kW) rear-wheel drive. The WLTP range is 265 miles (426 km), while both variants of the electric SUV have a peak DC rapid charge speed of 165kW.
Prices for the Elroq SE L 60 and the Elroq Edition 60 start at £33,350 and £34,450, respectively. The entry-level Elroq SE 50 sells for 31,500 pounds, while the former top-of-the-line Elroq Edition 85 has a starting price of £38,650.
The order books for all variants are now open.
