DS Automobiles opens order books for the N°8
The Stellantis brand unveiled the N°8 in mid-December – the first DS model to be available exclusively with electric drive. The model’s length stands at 4.82 metres, placing the N°8 in a mid-range size.
This also means that the SUV coupé is based on the SLTA Medium platform and not the SLTA Large. This means that the N°8 – like the Peugeot e-5008 or Opel Grandland Electric – is a pure 400-volt electric car. You can read more about the technical data of the drive system here.
The basic version with front-wheel drive and standard range battery (74 kWh) – is now available to order, the equipment is then called ‘Pallas’. With the higher-value ‘Étoile’ equipment, the price for this drive is even 54,790 pounds. With a long-range battery (97.2 kWh) and front-wheel drive, the price is 54,690 pounds or 59,290 euros, depending on the equipment. The top version, which includes a large battery with all-wheel drive, is available as the ‘Étoile’ – starting at 63,290 pounds.
