Volkswagen announces US prices for the 2025 ID.4
According to VW, models with the 62 kWh batter “will have later availability.” For now, only the version with the 82 kWh battery is available in three different trims: Entry, S, and S Plus.
Pricing for the entry-level version starts at 45,095 dollars if purchased with rear-wheel drive. When opting for an all-wheel-drive, buyers have to pay $48,995. The former comes with 19-inch, the latter with 20-inch alloy wheels. Entry models also have a 12.9-inch infotainment display with navigation and backlit sliders.
Next up is the ID.4 Pro S. It is available with rear- and all-wheel drive, with the former available from 50,196 dollars. The AWD variant sells from 54,095 dollars, says VW. Both versions feature 20-inch wheels and, on the inside, for example, 30-color ambient lighting.
The top trim S Plus is priced at $57,295. It is only available with all-wheel drive and 21-inch wheels. It also has a black roof with silver roof accents and other unique features.
Prices and details for the smaller 62-kWh variant will follow at a later date. Moreover, the carmaker states in its press release that “all models will receive additional content starting midyear.” Here, too, there is no additional information available at this point.
Volkswagen does not state an EPA range for its 2025 ID.4. The 2024 model with the 82 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive was able to drive up to 291 miles, while the all-wheel drive variant was able to complete up to 263 miles on one charge. Since last year, the EV also uses a new rear drive unit, the APP550, at least in cars with the larger battery. The 62-kWh version is equipped with the older APP310 rear drive unit.
