Vauxhall to launch new EV service package in Europe

Opel/Vauxhall is launching a new service called 'Electric All In,' which will offer customers an easy starter package for electric mobility. The package includes a wall box charging station, a battery warranty as well as other service and assistance programmes.

With ‘Electric All In’, which will initially be launched in Germany, Spain and Belgium with other markets to follow, Opel offers a complete package for electric car drivers that includes services such as an eProWallbox Move for charging at home, the Opel Connect PLUS package and eight years of mobile charging assistance, breakdown service and battery warranty.

All customers have to do is download a digital passport online or at their local dealer. The offer is valid for private customers purchasing a fully electric car from participating Opel partners until 30 June 2025 and will initially be introduced in Germany, Spain and Belgium. Other markets are to follow.

In addition, we make everyday electromobility even easier and more reliable thanks to our ‘Electric All In’ carefree package. At Opel, customers do not just buy their electric vehicle – they are also completely covered by the numerous electric services. With this unique approach, we want to make the switch to electromobility even easier and push the roll-out of this important drive technology,” explained Opel CEO Florian Huettl.

In the UK, the ‘Electric All In’ programme will replace the existing Plug & Go offer. As Vauxhall writes, the “updated offer includes extended roadside assistance and even more charging benefits.” This includes 8 years of comprehensive roadside assistance, which is an upgrade from the previous offer of 3 years. The extended cover also includes emergency charging assistance, should an EV run out of juice while on the road.

The charging offer of a £500 credit which can be used towards either an Ohme home wallbox installation or Tesco charging credit or Octopus Electroverse credit is retained, but a new offer of 10,000 miles of charging is offered to customers who opt to purchase the Intelligent Octopus GO home energy tariff. A complimentary  6-month subscription to Connect Plus is also on offer, which “improves the driving experience by offering features such as live navigation, remote vehicle status updates, and real-time traffic information.”
