COO Thomas Schultze leaves Alpitronic
Schultze writes on LinkedIn that he is leaving not only Alpitronic but also the EV industry. “After very exciting and enriching years as COO of Alpitronic, I would like to say goodbye to a great team and our unbeatable Hyperchargers. It has been an incredible journey of innovation and growth,” he says. “Off to a different industry and new challenges!” However, Schultze has yet to reveal where he is headed.
Schultze joined Alpitronic, based in Bolzano, in March 2022 and immediately took on the role of Chief Operating Officer. “The last years have been characterized by tremendous growth and unimaginable dynamic and I am proud of what we have achieved together. It’s all about the team,” says Schultze. “Together, we have redefined the EV charging industry. I am sure that Alpitronic will continue to lead the way forward with outstanding, efficient, reliable DC fast Chargers and Services to shape a sustainable, electric future. Of course I will remain an EV Enthusiast.”
It is not yet known who will succeed Schultze as Head of Operations. The management team currently consists of the two co-founders Philipp Senoner (CEO) and Andreas Oberrauch (CTO), as well as Wolfgang Ademmer (CMO), Andreas Rogger (CHRO) and Patrik Herrnegger as CFO. Senoner, Oberrauch and the other co-founders Sigrid Zanon and Alessandro Ciceri also form the Board of Directors.
Alpitronic was founded in 2009 and is best known in the industry for its Hypercharger fast-charging stations. The company not only develops the hardware for this, but also the software in-house. In the HPC expansion in Europe, the Hypercharger has become one of the most popular and widespread fast-charging stations.
