According to Ampeco, the round was led by investment fund Revaia, while existing investors Cavalry Ventures, BMW i Ventures, and LAUNCHub Ventures also pitched in. As mentioned above, Ampeco wants to use part of the funds to expand into new markets in Western Europe, Scandinavia, the UK, North America and South East Asia. It will also double its team to support the expansion.

Ampeco previously raised 16 million dollars in its Series A funding round in 2023. It has thus now raised a total of 42 million dollars.

“This investment is a testament to the hard work of our team and the trust our clients place in us,” said Orlin Radev, CEO of AMPECO. “With this funding, we’re poised to further drive innovation in EV charging management software, helping our clients build and scale robust charging networks that will accelerate the global transition to electric mobility. The positive market feedback has reinforced our vision for 2025, as we prepare to launch new platform capabilities focused on operational excellence and network scalability.”

“We are thrilled to lead AMPECO’s Series B and partner with a company that is at the forefront of powering the future of electric mobility,” said Morgan Kessous, Partner at Revaia. “At Revaia, we aim to back companies that deliver long-term and sustainable impact for multiple stakeholders. AMPECO is an excellent example of this vision in action, as it plays a crucial role in scaling EV infrastructures globally”.

Ampeco offers a white-label management platform for charge point operators (CPOs) and e-mobility service providers (eMSPs). It says it serves “over 160 clients across 60 markets […] connecting more than 120,000 charging stations to its platform.” One of these partners is ChargeHub, a roaming provider with which Ampeco recently signed a deal for the US and Canada. ChargeHub will use Ampeco’s charging management platform to give CPOs and eMSPs in North America access to the roaming platform.
