Mercedes-Benz Vans and E.ON partner Eastern Europe
The partnership aims to support companies who want to switch to electric mobility. Providing suitable charging infrastructure for company fleets is at the centre of the collaboration, says E.ON. Business customers who buy electric vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Vans CEE may seek professional advice from E.ON on charging solutions tailored to their needs. In addition, E.ON also assists with the installation and maintenance of chargers and offers matching services.
“The rise in the last-mile logistics sector is imminent, and our aim is enabling to decarbonise this growing industry. With Mercedes-Benz Vans in the CEE, we found the right partner to make the business of this industry green and sustainable,” stresses Davide Villa, CEO at E.ON Drive.

In the long term, the partnership will also offer customers cooling and other integrated energy solutions, for example, smart charging or heat pumps. Mercedes will, in turn, be able to offer customers special electricity tariffs.
