USA: Eaton and Treehouse work together on residential electrification projects
The partnership’s goal is to help deliver turnkey and cost-effective electrification projects, reduce “obstacles to electrification” for customers, and “ensure the smartest, most effective solutions are deployed through Treehouse’s end-to-end installation platform and a nationwide network of contractors”, the press release states. The approach is not limited to chargers for electric vehicles but also includes aspects such as energy storage and/or heat pumps.
Treehouse is an AI-enabled installation platform for electrification projects in the US. Its customers include car dealers, fleet providers, utility companies, and even hardware companies. As mentioned above, EV charging is thus just one of the aspects.
Eaton’s Green Motion EV smart breaker chargers are fast AC chargers for electric vehicles powered by smart breakers. According to the company, they offer “real-time energy insights and enable integration with onsite renewable and energy storage systems.”
“At Eaton, we’re all in on the energy transition and we’re making it happen at scale by delivering breakout technologies and industry collaborations needed to delight customers and make it more accessible and affordable,” said Paul Ryan, general manager of Connected Solutions and EV Charging at Eaton. “Treehouse consistently ranks among the highest in customer loyalty and satisfaction, which is vital for Eaton and our joint customers. We’re confident this collaboration will streamline and expedite U.S. electrification projects, driving consistency, reliability and sustainability—while saving time and money.”
