Kempower installs fast-chargers at Coop locations in Switzerland
The new chargers are located in Winterthur, in Riddes, and at the Regensdorf shopping centre. The former site is home to one charger with two charging points, each delivering up to 150 kW. The second site has two chargers and four charging points with a combined output of 600 kW, while the shopping centre in Regensdorf even features seven chargers, each with one arm. The site has a total output of 1050 kW.
Kempower specifies that the chargers were installed in cooperation with its distribution partner Energie 360° in Zurich. The companies have already fitted Coop locations in Haag and Dietlikon with Kempower DC chargers.
“The collaboration with Energie 360° and the associated provision of Kempower satellites to Coop locations in Switzerland is valuable for us, as together we are driving the future of electromobility,” says Philipp Oppolzer, Regional Business Development Director Central Europe at Kempower. Together, we are setting new standards for reliable and user-friendly charging infrastructure that will accelerate the transition to electric mobility across the region. We look forward to further projects.”
Kempower states in its press release that it will equip further Coop supermarkets with its charging infrastructure in the coming months. However, the company is not more specific than that.
