The Mobility House and Monta team up on fleet charging
Under the newly-signed partnership, The Mobility House Solutions is adding Monta’s innovative billing software to its service portfolio. According to the initiators, the joint offering enables companies to plan, control and transparently bill the charging processes of electric fleets, while allowing for transparent billing – “an important step for electric mobility.” The partnership between The Mobility House and Monta aims to lay “a crucial cornerstone that makes charging easier for employees both at work and at home.”
The partners note that in Germany, company cars play a major role in transport, as about 41 per cent of the total sales market is driven by these sales. In exact numbers, this means 1.2 million company cars leased or purchased in Germany last year. Electrification in this area, as is the case in many others, heavily depends on the availability of charging infrastructure.
Charging infrastructure at the office is not the sole focus of the project, however, as Heiko Bayer from The Mobility House Solutions notes: “With additional use cases such as company car charging at home, the requirements for requirements for billing are becoming ever more comprehensive. With Monta, we have found a solution that provides answers here.”
“Smooth installation and operation of charging stations, intelligent and cost-efficient energy and charging energy and charging management as well as automated billing of charging processes are essential for our customers and provide the basis for successful fleet electrification,” explained Bayer.
“The expectations of charging in the vehicle fleet have risen in recent years because there are more and more individual use cases. Together, we can offer fleet managers a comprehensive fleet managers a comprehensive product – they benefit from optimised capacity utilisation and availability of charging stations,” added Christian Kurtenbach, Director of Strategic Sales at Monta.
