2025 Ford E-Transit boasts comparable price with gasoline variant

As the 2025 model year Ford E-Transit electric van hits the US market for sale, it comes with attractive incentives, including a $2,000 rebate toward charging infrastructure.

The newly introduced 2025 Ford E-Transit electric van models is reported to come at a roughly “comparable” price as the gas-powered Transit models and will sell at $51,000. Ford also claims that the van qualifies for the $7,500 federal tax credit allotted for commercial vehicles. What’s more, consumers get to enjoy a $2,000 rebate toward charging infrastructure.

Other BEV models introduced by Ford include the 2025 E-Transit Chassis Cab and the Cutaway model. They are priced at $46,200 and $47,700 respectively.

The Ford E-Transit vehicles feature an optional $4,370 Electrician pack with drawers and bins which allows users to keep parts and reels to hang bundles of wires. In addition, the electric vans offer a $4,440 HVAC trade package equipped with large shelves and storage bins, as well as specialized refrigerant storage racks and restraints. A much lesser General Contractor pack can be purchased at $2,900 and features a mix of multipurpose shelves, bins, drawers, and hooks. A Foldable Shelving Package, with deep, large-capacity folding shelves optimized for delivery services starts at $3,300.

With flexible pricing across the products, Ford aims to give customers “the freedom to choose the powertrain that works best for their business, gas or electric.”
