Following the prior announcement to introduce lower-priced Equinox EVs, GM has officially announced that the Chevy Equinox EV LT is now available to order at $35,000. Tagged as the “most affordable EV in the US,” the vehicle is said to cover up to 315+ miles range.

With a lower price, the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV models now have a competitive advantage in the EV market.  It is reported that the vehicle is now available at dealerships across the US. Variants of the Equinox EV models are now set to “compete with the best” after GM already sold over 15,000 Equinox EVs in Q3 2024, according to reports. Furthermore, the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV LT qualifies for a $7,500 EV tax credit, further slashing the price to $27,495.

GM now offers the LT and RS Equinox models, which are both available with FWD or AWD powertrain options. The 2025 RS FWD variant starts at $45,790, covering up to 319 miles range. Meanwhile, the AWD powertrain option sells at $40,295 with an EPA-estimated range of 307 miles. What’s more, the automaker says that the RS AWD boasts GM’s Active Safety Package 2, AutoSense power liftgate, and sporty design upgrades and consumers can purchase the vehicle at a market price of $49,090.
