Ford launches deliveries of the battery-electric Capri

Ford has officially kicked off dealership and customer deliveries of the battery-electric Capri which is built in Cologne. Following the announcement, the electric SUV is now heading to dealerships across Europe.

Following the start of series production in Cologne, Ford has now begun deliveries of the all-electric Capri to dealers and new car buyers. According to Ford, almost 200,000 European customers have configured their personal Capri model variant online to date.

At launch, the Capri is available in three options, ranging from the Standard Range RWD to two Extended Range variants with either RWD or AWD. Prices (in Germany) range from 44,950 euros for the cheapest version, to 51,950 euros for the Extended Range AWD variant and finally 55,950 euros for the range-topper. While all three have a top speed of 180 kph, the battery options and power output vary significantly, from 52 kWh to 79 kWh, all models feature different batteries, while the output ranges from 125 kW to 210 kW for the Extended Range RWD and 250 kW for the Extended Range AWD. The highest range is available on the Extended Range RWD, which can go up to 627 km per charge.
