GM launches 2025 Chevy Blazer EV

GM has opened the order books for the new model year of the Chevy Blazer EV in the US. It offers more power and more range than its predecessor.

The entry-level variant with front-wheel drive, which will only be available at the end of the year, starts at 45,995 dollars. The all-wheel drive variant is available from 48,995 dollars and the RWD variant from 56,990 dollars. Both variants have been around, but offer more EPA-rated range compared to the previous model year. Specifically, the AWD version can now go up to 283 miles (previously 279 miles) and the RWD has a range of 334 miles (up from 324 miles).

The range for the FWD Chevy Blazer EV has not been announced. But again, the variant will not go on sale until the end of the year.

Chevy also offers a high-performance SS variant, available for 61,995 dollars. It will launch in the first quarter of 2025. The range for this model has not yet been specified. What is known is that this all-electric SUV variant can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.

Moreover, Chevy specifies that all variants are eligible for the 7,500-dollar Clean Vehicle Tax Credit in the US.
