If you think that superstars such as Jude Bellingham (21), Kylian Mbappé (25) and Vinicius Jr. (24) drive to practice in a Mini Countryman, you are quite mistaken. On the contrary, the players from the Spanish capital are all about splendour.

None of the players drives anything less than the i5 – except German international Antonio Rüdiger (31), who is content with a BMW iX2 xDrive30, with a new price tag of 58,550 euros. Coach Carlo Ancelotti (65) drives the i5 in the i5 M60 xDrive version, which costs a whopping 114,450 euros, and with that, the Italian coach is still relatively frugal. Turkish young talent Arda Güler (19) was given an i7 xDrive 60 ( €139,550 new). For his electric ride, Vinícius Júnior (24) picked up the i7 with even more tuning equipment, namely the i7 M70 xDrive (186,650 euros).

In terms of price, Vincinus Junior even tops Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé, who are happy with the plug-in hybrid BMW XM for 179,900 euros. But at least he seems to know how to charge it.

After all, the problem with plug-in hybrids is that drivers are often too lazy to charge them – and in no time at all, the nice CO2 balance is gone, and they are effectively petrol cars with a big V8 combustion engine. When the electric motor does come into play, it’s no bad thing either, with 145 kW and a range of around 80 kilometres.
