Hubject has announced a strategic partnership with ChargeLab, a hardware-independent software platform for electric vehicle charging in North America. According to a blog post, ChargeLab simplifies charging with Hubject’s Plug&Charge ecosystem.

In short, ChargeLab will implement and offer Hubject’s Plug & Charge ecosystem to its customers. The collaboration will enable “ChargePoint Operators (CPOs), eMobility Service Providers (EMSPs), and EV manufacturers across North America to deliver seamless and secure charging solutions,” Hubject says in a statement. ChargeHub also signed a deal with charging management platform Ampeco a few days ago. The latter also partners with Hubject.

“ChargeLab is emerging as a major player in the OCPP software space, providing their platform to well-known North American brands,” said Trishan Peruma, CEO of Hubject North America. “This partnership brings a seamless and secure charging experience to a growing number of charging stations and North American EV drivers.”

Ehsan Mokhtari, the CTO of ChargeLab, highlighted the technical advancements, stating, “The integration with Hubject’s PKI not only fortifies the security framework essential for modern EV charging systems but also sets a new standard for interoperability within the industry. Our collaborative effort is poised to reshape the future of eMobility across the continent.”

Hubject has also partnered with Yinson GreenTech to drive seamless EV charging in Malaysia. Yinson GreenTech has successfully integrated Hubject’s Plug&Charge technology into the chargEV charging station network.

“We are committed to driving the adoption of sustainable technologies and are proud to collaborate with Hubject to bring Plug&Charge technology to Malaysia, says Eirik Barclay, Chief Executive Officer of Yinson GreenTech. “This partnership not only supports the Malaysian government’s sustainability initiatives but also provides a secure and convenient charging experience for EV users.”
