The exact technical specifications for the electric tipper are not mentioned, however the company claims o have improved the performance of the electric vehicle with its technical solutions and CATL’s battery: “Thanks to the extended range of additional features and benefits, hookloader operations are now faster, safer, more efficient and more productive than ever before.” The exact markets which are planned for release are also not revealed in the communication, but the company will be supported by Putzmeister in its marketing efforts.

“With the introduction of electric hooklifts on a 4-axle chassis, we are further expanding the Sany eTrucks portfolio in Europe and setting an important milestone in the development of environmentally friendly and efficient commercial vehicles,” said Kevin Eichele Head of Product & Business Development at Sany eTrucks Europe. “Our customers benefit from increased productivity and lower operating costs while reducing their environmental footprint.”

Sany is well-established in its home market of China, and has been steadily expanding into Europe, and took its first step outside of its home market in June with an electric excavator marketed in the Netherlands.
