Electric buggies from Cybex: electric mobility for the newborn

German baby equipment manufacturer Cybex is advertising a pram with electrically assisted pushing - including a rocking function at the touch of a button. It should enable parents to navigate "any terrain effortlessly."

The e-Gazelle from Cybex makes it easier for parents to push their offspring thanks to “plenty of horsepower,” as the outfitter puts it. Thanks to the intuitively adjustable motorised support, “a smooth ride is possible even on uneven ground or cobblestones.” It is the first electric buggy in the Cybex Gold line. It can also automatically cradle the infant when stationary.

Most parents are aware that prams have now become a status symbol and sometimes have horrendous prices. Buggies with “multi-terrain support” are likely to herald the next round. Cybex does not specify the ‘hp’ in its announcement. The price, however, is a mere 1,100 euros.
