The amendment to the second phase of the initial agreement adds another 254 UR DC charging points to the 252 already deployed through the first phase of the agreement. The first of these charging locations has already been put into operation, with eight PoGo Touch Plus Ultra-Rapid DC delivering power at the Washington Retail Park. Regarding the charging stations themselves, PoGo writes: “with a power range of 50-600kW this unit offers the fastest charging speeds of any charger currently in the UK.”

Initially, the first deal was signed in November 2023, which included the installation of 658 DC charging points. With both phases combined, PoGo Charge will now deploy over 900 EV charging points across LCP-owned retail parks across the UK, including LCP locations in England, Scotland and Wales.

“This second agreement coming so soon after the first shows the confidence that LCP has in the proven reliability of our technology, the work we’ve already completed and the new installations yet to be energised. It’s clear we share a similar passion for delivering the right infrastructure in the right places to accelerate an electric future,” explained PoGo Charge’s Managing Director, Stuart Douglas.

PoGo Charge also has an ongoing deal with Kew Green Hotels in the UK, Hotels to build 40 charging hubs at hotel brands including Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, voco and Courtyard by Marriott.
