Be.EV signs on to Paua network in the UK

Be.EV and Paua have signed a strategic partnership in the UK. All 700 of Be. EV's stations will be integrated into the Paua network. For that matter, Paua is not the only MSP that Be.EV has recently teamed up with.

According to its website, Paua gives customers access to over 53,000 charge points from more than 35 CPOs across the UK. With its new partnership with Be.EV, that number will grow to nearly 54,000. Moreover, the latter wants to install an additional 300 charge points by the end of this year.

“We are very pleased to be working with Paua – a company which shares our mission to bring EV charging to as many people as possible,” says Be.EV CEO Asif Ghafoor. “At Be.EV we are constantly looking for new sites to install our community-focused charging sites and will bring them to Paua customers as they go live.”

Moreover, Be.EV announced that it has teamed up with Zap-Pay. That means its customers can now pay for charging via the Zapmap app.

Be.EV just recently became part of the Plugsurfing network and opened its first charging hub in Stockport in Greater Manchester at the beginning of the year. A second site there will follow soon. It is backed by Octopus Energy Generation, which invested £110 million in the charge point operator last year. Be.EV is not active across the UK. It focuses on Manchester and the North West.
