Castagna Milano to convert the Topolino into a beach mobile

Castagna Milano has developed a package for the Fiat Topolino EV to convert it into a beach buggy. The beach buggy version of the Topolino delivers an open-air feeling with a removable canvas top and yacht design elements.

While Fiat already offers a convertible version of the Toplino, the Castagna Milano variant is a more dedicated build, with design elements taken from the yachting world. It features a removable canvas flap to cover the cabin when the weather is not so sunny, as well as an optionally longer “tail” to offer drivers more trunk storage space. The vehicle’s cabin materials were also overhauled to adapt to the added exposure to the elements.

For its technical underpinnings, the beach-friendly Topolino retains the standard electric motor with 6 kW and runs off a 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The standard model has a WLTP range of 47 miles (75 km).

The conversion is available from €25,000 ($26,746), or from €35,000 ($37,445) for the longer version. Quite a price tag for a vehicle that costs €9,890 in its home market of Italy. Fiat had also only reintroduced the Topolino in 2023.
