The class 5 chassis was created by REE Automotive in collaboration with what the company says is a “leading delivery fleet”, designed to increase delivery efficiencies and improve fleet management. The P7-S is part of the company’s P7 program which means that automotive body builders can develop their own purpose-built electric vehicles such as step-vans, box trucks and other electric vehicles specific to particular vocations. The P7-S stipped chassis can come with a certified P7-C chassis cab that the company says is eligible for US federal tax credits and state incentives.

“From the start, we have been attuned to the voice of the customer and therefore decided to design our products with fleets in mind, by working directly with them during the design process to create the best electric truck or chassis they need,” said Daniel Barel, CEO and co-founder of REE Automotive.

REE Automotive, which has production bases in the USA and the UK, underlines that the P7-S platform can be customized with elements such as class (4-5), driver position, batteries, wheelbase and rear overhang.
