Dacia has opened orders for the new Spring electric car with a £14,995 on-the-road price tag or £169 per month on a 3.9% APR representative, four-year Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) deal, with a customer deposit of £2,325.

The Spring offers a usable range of up to 140 miles (WLTP mixed cycle) or 186 miles (WLTP urban cycle), with the compact 26.8 kWh battery able to be charged from 20% to 100% in four hours using a 7kW wall box. As was announced when the new version of the Dacia Spring was revealed in February, the new Spring will thus also feature a small 26.8 kWh battery and have a maximum output of 48 kW.

Dacia is also offering a more powerful motor, “for an additional £10 on top of the monthly cost of the entry-level Expression version,” which would then buy the Expression 65. “A further £10 per month, on top the monthly cost of an Expression 65, puts car buyers behind the wheel of the flagship Extreme 65 version.” The basic version is only available with the small electric motor, and the top version only with the large one. Both powertrains are available in the mid-range “Expression” version.

The company’s in-house charging solutions provider Mobilize Power Solutions is also offering customers a home charger at an additional £20 per month.
