While the electric vehicle models will be available in the UK before long, prices have yet to be announced. Skywell will not be selling its vehicles itself, however, as the company Innovation Automotive, which describes itself as the UK’s first multi-brand electric vehicle company, will be marketing the vehicles along with EVs from Seres.

Regarding the BE11 itself, its dimensions are 4,720 mm in length, while it is 1,908 mm wide and has a height of 1,696 mm. It runs on an NMC lithium-ion battery with an option of either a 72 kWh or 86 kWh battery. The range is then set at 248 miles or 304 miles according to WLTP, depending on the battery option, which can be charged with up to 11 kW on an AC charger.

The charging time, which is listed as 20-70 per cent, is currently stated as 36 min/45 min on Innovation Automotive’s website, however, the exact DC charging capacity has not been revealed. It should correspond to about 60 kW according to the information provided. The front-wheel drive electric SUV can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 9.6 seconds and delivers up to 150 kW power. The BE11 will only be available in a single trim at launch.

While Skywell is still a relatively new player in the automotive world, Seres has been ramping up for its global launch recently. Towards the end of March, Seres revealed plans to export 50,000 electric cars this year, as well as presenting two electric SUVs at the IAA in Germany last year. Seres launched its first electric vehicle model in Europe in the summer of 2023, and has an ongoing development cooperation with Bosch.
