Citroën announces UK prices and specs for the 2024 ë-C3
The Stellantis brand Citroën has announced prices and specifications for the newest version of its small electric SUV in the UK. Not much has changed from the specifications of the previous version: The BEV still runs on a 44 kWh battery, which takes around 4 hours and 10 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% using a 7.4kW charger, while a 100 kW fast charger can reduce that time to about 26 minutes.
The ë-C3 delivers 83kW with its electric motor and the automatic transmission can accelerate the car from 0-62mph in around 11 seconds. A top speed of 84mph is set.
There are two trim levels for the ë-C3, both of which feature the same 83 kW drive and 44 kWh battery, titled ‘Plus’ and ‘Max’. The price difference ranges from the base Plus variant at £21,990 to £23,690 for the Max version. In addition to extra connectivity options and traffic updates, the Max version boasts a “rear parking camera, automatic air conditioning, LED rear lights, dark-tinted windows, as well as a heated steering wheel, heated windscreen, and heated front seats.”
Another performance version of the ë-C3 was also recently launched, however, technical details are still lacking, and are expected to be announced closer to the order launch in the summer.
