ZF presents new drive system for e-bikes at Eurobike

ZF announced the premiere of its new e-bike drive system at the Eurobike 2024 trade fair. The 'ZF Bike Eco System' contains all the components for the drive system, such as the motor, batteries, control and operating units, an app and a connection to the cloud.

Bicycle manufacturers should be able to install the new drive system, which is intended to cover almost all e-bike types, on the bike with significantly less effort than with standard e-drives on the market. The form factor of the e-drive also offers greater design freedom. ZF does not provide any further details in the short press release. “We offer e-bike manufacturers the complete drive system from a single source,” explained Daniel Härter, Head of the Micro Mobility business unit at ZF.

Eurobike 2024 will take place this year from 3 to 7 July in Frankfurt am Main. ZF will be represented at the bike show at stand A09 in hall 12.1 and at stand I12 in outdoor area F12.
