The Xpeng G6 is now available in Europe
In the Netherlands, the Xpeng starts at 42,990 euros. By comparison, the similarly sized Model Y is available from 45,990 euros for the rear-wheel drive version with a small battery. The version “Long-Range Rear-wheel drive” costs a minimum of 49,990 euros, while the cheapest all-wheel drive version is priced at 52,990 euros in the Netherlands.
In Norway, the price is NOK 410,000, the equivalent of 34,763 euros. In Denmark, the G6 is available from DKK 339,900 or €45,571, and in Sweden, the starting price is SEK 529,900 or the equivalent of €45,483. The price differences are mainly due to the respective taxation.

The standard colour for the Xpeng G6 is Arctic White. For an additional charge, the model is also available in various colours, including Graphite Gray, Midnight Black, Silver Frost or the introductory colour Fiery Orange. Customers can choose between Black or Diamond Gray for the interior. The G6 comes standard with 20-inch aluminium wheels. It can also be ordered with an electrically extendable trailer coupling (up to 1,500 kilograms towing capacity) on request – Xpeng does not specify the surcharge for this.
The G6 is the fifth model in Xpeng’s range and the third to be offered in Europe. The Chinese electric car manufacturer unveiled the five-seater in April 2023 at Auto China in Shanghai. The coupé-like electric SUV is the first Xpeng model based on the new 800-volt SEPA 2.0 platform, which the company unveiled the day before Auto China. The model has rear-wheel drive as standard but can also be selected with all-wheel drive as an option. The base model delivers 190 kW and 440 Nm, the single-engine long-range version 210 kW and 440 Nm and the all-wheel drive model 350 kW and 660 Nm. The latter will be able to accelerate to 100 kph in four seconds. According to Xpeng, all variants can reach speeds of up to 200 kph.
In terms of batteries, buyers of the G6 can choose between a smaller LFP battery with 66 kWh and a WLTP range of up to 435 kilometres (i.e. comparable to the Model Y rear-wheel drive) and a larger NCM battery with 87.5 kWh for a range of 550 to 570 kilometres according to the WLTP. However, the large battery is standard in the all-wheel drive model. The small LFP battery can be charged with up to 215 kW, the large NMC battery even with 280 kW at its peak, as Xpeng has now confirmed. The charging process from 10 to 80 per cent will take “less than 20 minutes.” A three-phase onboard charger with 11 kW is installed for AC charging.
The Chinese manufacturer also states that the G6 has a boot capacity of 571 litres (expandable to up to 1,374 litres) and a wheelbase of 2.89 metres. The G6 has a length of 4.75 metres, a width of 1.92 metres and a height of 1.65 metres. The model is thus almost the same size as the Tesla Model Y, which is only 2.5 centimetres lower.
