Lotus Emeya available to order in the UK from £94,950

The Emeya will launch in continental Europe and the UK in the third quarter of 2024, according to the Geely brand. Sales in China already kicked off in January, when the sporty electric saloon started at the equivalent of €86,000. While four variants are available in China, there are three versions to choose from in Europe at market launch.

The “Hyper-GT,” as Lotus calls the four-door coupé-style saloon, was unveiled in September 2023. The all-wheel drive top-of-the-range version of the Emeya offers up to 675 kW of power and up to 985 Nm of torque. Lotus gives the top speed of the Emeya as more than 250 kph. The sprint from zero to 100 kph will take less than 2.8 seconds. The battery has a capacity of 102 kWh and can be charged from ten to 80 per cent in 18 minutes using the 800-volt system. At the start of European orders, otus finally revealed the vehicle’s range: the EV can drive up to 610 kilometres on a single charge, according to WLTP.

This standard range applies to the basic Emeya for £94,950 (€106,400) and the Emeya S above it for £107,450 (€126,950). The Emeya S is a better-equipped version (including 21-inch instead of 20-inch rims, lighter brake discs with 6-piston brake callipers, illuminated door sills, configurable ambient lighting and sports pedals). The drive is the same for these versions. Only the £129,950 (€150,990) Emeya R offers more power, as can be seen from the table:
