Torsten Kiedel takes over as managing director at Ionity

Torsten Kiedel has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 1 January 2024 and will drive Ionity's growth in Europe together with Dr Michael Hajesch (CEO) and Dr Marcus Groll (COO).

In his new role, Torsten Kiedel is responsible for finance, accounting, controlling, purchasing and energy management. He moved to Ionity from Sono Motors. From 2020 to 2023, he was Chief Financial Officer of the listed parent company and Managing Director of the operating subsidiary at the solar startup, where he was responsible for the company’s capital market orientation and financing, among other things. Kiedel previously worked for the BMW Group, Mytaxi (now Free Now) and Flixbus.
