Greenflux integrates Milence charging points
As part of the roaming agreement, Greenflux customers will have access to fast chargers for electric trucks operated by Milence. Milence is the charging joint venture between Daimler Truck, the Traton Group, and the Volvo Group. It is building a network of fast-charging stations for heavy-duty electric trucks and electric coaches for long-distance transport.
Milence opened its first charging park in Venlo, the Netherlands, at the beginning of December. The joint venture is focussing on locations along important long-distance roads for travel and, above all, freight transport. Milence will also build charge parks at major hubs, such as the port of Antwerp-Bruges. It wants to set up 1,700 charging points by the end of 2027 – currently with 400 kW CCS charging points, and later, with the megawatt charging standard MCS.
Greenflux customers can now also benefit from the location in Venlo and the other charge parks planned for 2024. “This contract will be a key enabler for accelerating the transition to electric trucks,” says Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director of GreenFlux. “We are proud to partner with Milence and contribute towards developing Europe’s leading charging network for heavy-duty transport.”
Chief Commercial Officer at Milence, Roel Vissers, adds: “This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our mission to achieve fossil-free road transport by providing efficient and sustainable charging solutions for all-electric trucks.”
Greenflux is also expanding its existing partnership with XXImo. By integrating GreenFlux’s EV roaming network into XXImo’s ecosystem, company car drivers can access more than 500,000 public charging points in Europe, regardless of vehicle brand or charge point operator.
XXImo is a European payment and mobility platform that has worked with Greenflux for eight years. According to the press release, the partnership expansion reaffirms XXImo’s commitment to “streamline the experience for business travellers by ensuring 100% coverage of charging stations throughout Europe.”
