The company says trainees from the latter will receive job offers or internship opportunities from Servotech. According to Arun Handa, Chief Technical Officer of Servotech Power Systems, “the R&D centre will become a catalyst for groundbreaking technological advancements in the rapidly evolving field of EVs.”

“This collaboration with Servotech Power Systems will give real exposure and develop an understanding of the students of the Institute and the nearby region in the EV sector,” adds Manohar Thairani, President of Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology.

On top of collaboration on R&D and training of future EV experts, Servotech will also set up a 14 kW charging station on Lloyd’s campus. According to Servotech, it can charge two-, three-, and four-wheelers and is free to all of the institute’s students and faculty. It can also be accessed by the general public and students from nearby institutes.
