Volvo Trucks certified dealer network adds five new dealer locations in the US
Volvo Trucks North America announced that Vanguard Truck Centers has completed its Volvo Trucks Certified EV Dealer programme at five locations, including Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina; and Austin and Houston in Texas. These locations now are officially capable of providing comprehensive sales and service support for Volvo Trucks customers. With the addition of Vanguard’s new locations, Volvo Trucks has now expanded its Certified EV Dealer network into three additional states: Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina. The move brings the company’s total to 50 certified dealership locations in 24 US states and three Canadian provinces.
In order to complete the Volvo training programme, dealerships must install onsite charging stations and dedicated EV service bays, acquire diagnostic tools and personal protective equipment for technicians working with high-voltage systems, and purchase parts inventory for the VNR Electric model. To help facilitate the process, Volvo Financial Services (VFS) also introduced financing options for fleets to support the cost of installing charging infrastructure, as well as service and maintenance plans.
