Volvo reveals US prices for 2024 lineup
Volvo Car USA has published its pricing for the 2024 lineup of luxury cars and SUVs.The Volvo Car USA lineup sees the introduction of two new Volvo-developed fully electric powertrain options on the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge.
For the first time in 25 years, Volvo Car USA is offering rear-wheel drive cars. Volvo highlights that the single-motor extended-range variants, as the variant name suggests, provide an improved range.
While Volvo says its US lineup will fit any lifestyle, its predominantly large cars, start at recommended prices from $40,100 for the XC40 B5 AWD and go up to $80,100 for the XC90 Recharge T8 eAWD plug-in hybrid 6-seater.
The entire lineup in the USA is now either part or fully electric. The company announced in 2021 that it would only offer pure electric cars worldwide from 2030 onwards.
Volvo Cars recently said goodbye to diesel-powered cars, saying it will produce its last diesel in early 2024. In Europe, Volvo Cars now primarily sells electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids and is now following suit in the USA.
