PowerGo wins further charging tenders in Denmark
So far, the company has won 16 tenders in Denmark. The most recently won tenders are in the municipalities of Glostrup, Haderslev, Næstved, Rudersdal, Varde, Ballerup, Hillerød, Thisted and Vallensbæk and include a total of 832 AC and DC charging points – the exact distribution among the municipalities can be found in the press release linked below. In addition, PowerGo is implementing eight ultrafast charging points in Haderup.
In November 2022, PowerGo and the Danish charging platform Spirii won the first three tenders for 178 AC charging points – specifically in the municipalities of Vejle, Vejen and Gladsaxe. In December, an order for 69 AC stations and several DC chargers was added in the city of Ikast-Brande, and later, PowerGo won tenders in Randers and Gentofte – bringing the total to 16 municipalities to date. However, the company has already announced that “more projects in Denmark” will be announced in the coming months.
The first charging stations from the tenders went into operation in May, specifically in a car park in Vejle. The installation of charging stations has started in the municipalities of Gladsaxe, Vejen, Randers and Ikast-Brande.

But the Dutch company is also expanding outside Denmark: In June, the Radisson hotel group commissioned PowerGo to equip around 300 hotels across Europe with charging infrastructure.
