Stellantis launches new electric van grant in the UK

UK buyers can make significant savings when opting for vans by Stellantis brands. This week, the Group’s LCV business launched an exclusive incentive on top of the existing government grant for electric vans.

The current UK plug-in van grant is worth up to £5,000. With Stellantis LCV adding another £5,000, customers could get up to £7,500 off a new electric van.

The £2,500 Stellantis incentive applies to small and medium electric vans from Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroën and Fiat Professional. Stellantis says these were among the few brands to offer a fully electric variant across their entire LCV line-ups, with the Group claiming to account for one in two (54.3%) of all-electric vans sold in the UK year-to-date. More than one in four electric vans sold in the UK so far in 2023 has been a Vauxhall Vivaro Electric, making it the UK’s best-selling e-LCV, according to the company.

Accordingly, eligible medium electric vans include the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric and the Peugeot e-Expert, Citroën ë-Dispatch and Fiat Professional E-Scudo. Smaller models are the Vauxhall Combo Electric, Peugeot e-Partner, Citroën ë-Berlingo and Fiat Professional E-Doblò, with production of these vans recently getting underway at Ellesmere Port.

The new e-LCV Grant applies to stock vehicles only and includes leasing offers.

On top, Stellantis included a free wall box installation and £400 credit on an Octopus Electroverse card, delivering up to 2,500 miles of public charging from over 500,000 chargers across the UK and Europe. If a customer already has a wall box installed, Stellantis will instead grant a £750+VAT Customer Deposit Contribution towards their new van.

Tony Lewis, LCV Director, Stellantis UK, said the e-LCV Grant was designed to provide an “all-round package for electric van drivers”.

Customers may claim the e-LCV grant starting on 02 October and ending on 31 December 2023.
