Corsa Electric gets a price tag in the UK

Vauxhall announced prices for its new Corsa Electric in the UK. The revised EV will be available from 32,445 pounds and can now be ordered. The first units will be delivered before the end of the year.

The EV is available in three trim levels – Design, GS and Ultimate. And Vauxhall gives a few more technical details at this point.

The Corsa Electric comes with a 51 kWh battery, giving the EV a range of up to 396 kilometres (when fitted with the new 115 kW motor). The existing 100 kW powertrain will remain available, in which case the Corsa Electric can go 357 kilometres on one charge.

The car comes standard with an 11 kW on-board charger. Charging from zero to 100 per cent will take just over five hours. The car can also fas-charge with up to 100 kW, in which case it takes 30 minutes to charge the battery from 10 to 80 per cent.

Following the makeover, there are also numerous new features on the interior, such as a 10-inch touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and wireless phone charging.

The New Corsa is also available with a petrol engine. Just as a comparison: in that case, prices start at 19,625 pounds.
