The offer includes a 4.9 per cent Annual Percentage Rate (APR) on Kia’s electric cars, two free services and a free 12-month Kia Charge Plus subscription. In the case of the latter, Kia will provide voucher codes to new customers, giving them access to “more than 34,000 connectors in the UK”. Moreover, customers are said to save 15 per cent compared to the standard Kia Charge Easy tariff across most tariffs.
The offers are available to private customers only. But they apply to the Kia dealer network nationwide, as well as to online purchases.
Update 07 July 2023
Kia UK has announced a series of improvements to its vehicles, available as a free software update. The most prominent upgrade is the introduction of EV route planning. The new feature is included in the latest software update that Kia has dispatched for its EV6 and all-new Niro EV fleet.
Among other things, the new update will allow the navigation system to detect charging stations along the route and add them as waypoints automatically. The system now automatically recognises if battery levels are insufficient to reach the destination and alerts drivers along with a selection of charging stations in the vicinity, as well as automatically starting the battery conditioning process.
