Poland to challenge the EU’s climate regulations
Poland wants to take legal action against the EU’s ban on new cars with combustion engines that is planned to take effect from 2035 onwards.
Poland’s climate minister Anna Moskwa announced that the country’s government would appeal the rules to the EU’s highest court in the next few days. She said she hoped other countries would join in. Poland is also one of several countries opposing the EU’s planned Euro 7 emissions standard.
