Neta Automobile unveils new electric GT
The Chinese automobile manufacturer Neta Automobile has presented a new battery-electric, two-door sports car named Neta GT, which is to be released in the first half of 2023.
This will be the Hozon-owned EV manufacturers’ fourth vehicle model, following the Neta S, which was initially announced last year, and the Neta U and Neta V electric SUV models. Neta also announced the Neta GT last year, however, the model was referred to as the Neta E, at the time. The models dimensions are as follows: 4,715 mm in length, 1,979 mm in width and 1,415 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,770 mm. The Neta GT will be available in both single-motor and dual-motor variants, with the single-motor having a maximum output of 170 kW while the dual-motor variant can run up to 340 kW.
In terms of battery storage, the Neta GT will be available with three different options: 64.24 kWh, 74.48 kWh and 77.9 kWh, which allow for a CLTC range of 560 km, 580 km and 660 km, respectively.
While the price and production start are not officially known, last year Hozon Auto CEO Zhang Yong had stated that the model would be mass-produced and delivered in the first half of 2023. Prices are still entirely unclear, however, the Neta S flagship sedan currently sells for RMB 242,800 to RMB 341,800 (approx. €32.085 to €45,167)
