France: Atlante installs fast charger for Duval
Fast-charging provider Atlante, a joint venture between Stellantis, NHOA Group and Free2move eSolutions, is partnering with France’s Groupe Duval to build 188 DC and HPC charging points at sites owned by the property company across France. The first of these fast chargers will come online before the end of 2023.
The 188 chargers planned for Groupe Duval’s business parks will be accessible to the group’s customers and the general public. The partners are not giving any details about the exact charging capacity or the planned number of chargers per site. The announcement only mentions “fast and ultra-fast charging points”. Groupe Duval is a family-owned company with just over 5,000 employees, active in 19 countries and responsible for real estate projects from conception to operation.
“Partnering with Groupe Duval is a precious opportunity for Atlante to expand our reach and impact further within the e-mobility French market. We are proud to be coupling with a company that shares our commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability, and we look forward to the great things we can achieve in the future,” says Atlante CEO Jacques Galvani.
Atlante is officially a joint venture between Stellantis, NHOA Group and Free2move eSolutions, which is itself a joint venture between Stellantis and NHOA. Launched at the end of 2021, the Atlante project aims to build DC chargers in Italy, France, Spain as well as Portugal and is part of Stellantis’ planned European charging network. The latter is expected to include more than 15,000 sites with a total of two million parking spaces by 2025. The manufacturer refers to Atlante as the “preferred fast charging network of Stellantis”.
In February, Atlante installed its first fast chargers in Italy. At the same time, Stellantis announced the opening of the first Atlante fast charging points in France at selected Stellantis dealers.
