Hyundai goes omnidirectional at CES
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 can park sideways and turn on the spot. At least this one can, where the supplier Hyundai Mobis is demonstrating the capabilities of its e-Corner module that integrates the steering, braking, suspension and electric drive in one wheel.
Hyundai had first introduced the technology at CES in 2018, and has yet to install it in any series vehicles, however the e-Corner module appears ready to help driver fit those tight parking spots.
